Sound coming in and out

I am playing itunes and the music is coming in at the normal volume and then fades out and back in and it's really annoying. No it isnt changing songs but I am using a creative soundcard that I bought for $30 which is idk does the 5.1 speaker job.

Do I have to buy a new card or what?

It's so annoying ahhh!
 
I honestly haven't plugged in other speakers because I was in a rush to get out the door. And yeah I will try winamp or something tomorrow.
