Sound card

I want a new sound card for when i am video editing. what do i look for in a good card?

An X-Fi with the front panel would be a good choice.

Audigy 4 Pro is good too

Audigy 2 ZS Platinum is a good choice, you can usually get them for around $180 with a $100 mail in rebate. But a X-Fi would be the best.

A new sound card is not going to help the editing process. Are you recording audio though your sound card? If so, get capture card with sound capabilities

At this stage its just the editing. i dont do the sound yet my sound guy takes care of that. but better sound would help me a lot.
