today is my birthday and i need to finish it up

all i need is a nice sound card thats around 40-50 with nice clean output

this are the speakers im gonna get

edit: are any of the Audigy SE cards any good or is the music all crackly

For $40-$50, a Creative SB Audigy 2 value would be decent, but the Audigy 2 ZS would be much better if you can afford it.

If you go from onboard to an Audigy 2ZS or X-Fi, there is a huge difference. But it's usually only worth it if you have nice speakers or a headset.

Very nice. I would recommend those speakers over the creative's anyday, and they are cheaper.

yes that would be good, too bad you missed the newegg sale, you coulda grabbed an x-fi xtrememusic for not much for than the audigy 2 ZS.
