sound card?

I just got a new computer with the 7.1 onboard audio...

I also have the ht omega claro sound card collecting dust...would it even be worth it to use this older sound card? If I remember correctly it was a top line card a few years back.

Would my mobo be better tho?
 
If you can find the drivers of it for your current OS then by all means put it in and try it out.
I think it would be better than the onboard sound
