Sound card.

How can i detect that my sound card is working or not , my speakers are ok but these are not working when i connect this to my computer.

Try other speakers/headphones, if it doesnt work do what cohen said, get the latest drivers

Look in your Device Manager and see if it shows a Sound device. And are you sure you have your speakers plugged into the right ports?
