Hello PC helpers,
my name is Ted i'm from Holland,
I've got a problem with my pc at work.
The pc says that there are no music playing devices available.
There is also no speaker icon available. When i go to the advanced volume mixer. Then there comes a mention that there is no sound card installed. I tried to fix the problem downloading realtek ac 97 drivers but the sound just won't work. Please help me out here. I don't know what to do now.
Specification computer:
-HP Compaq dc7600.
-Motherbord Chipset Intel Grantsdale-G i915GV
-BIOS Type Compaq (12/01/04)
-Soundkart Analog Devices 1981B(L) @ Intel 82801FB ICH6 - AC'97 Audio Controller [B-1]
-DMI BIOS Leverancier Hewlett-Packard
-DMI BIOS Versie 786C2 v01.02
How do i get my sound card working?
