sound card trouble

i just formatted my computer and when i reinstalled windows my sound card was no longer detected and thus no sound comes out of my speakers. it's a unimodem half duplex audio device. do i need to install drivers for it or should my bios recognize it automatically? if i need a driver where can i get one?

and to help me speed up any help i can give you, is it a pre-manufactured pc by anything chance? if so, what's the make/model?

it is manufactured, dell dimension 8200

they require you to type in the serial # of your comp, otherwise i'd find the driver for you

google told me it has a turtle beach card, but not the model
