sound card question

would it sound better than the intergraded sound in my abit AV8?

Eh, though most other sound cards do sound better than onboard sound, I beleive that's one acception I have one somewhere, and, IMO, it's junk.

Beleive me, if anything it would slow his machine down! I had all grades or problems with mine! I couldn't even play two sounds at once. YOu know, I'd get errors if I was playing an MP3 and windows made a beep! I had older ESS cards that worked much better and the sound was even more clear!
