Sound card is seriously not working this time

Hey everyone my sound card isn't working at the moment coz I dun think I have the driver installed or something. I tried installing a driver but it still doesnt work. Really confused

What sound card do you have? Go check device manager and see if the status of the card.

It's a yamaha YMF 724/740 PCI

What OS are you running the sound card on?

Can you link us to the driver you tried previously? It'll help us determine which one you tried already.

Found a couple, but don't know the os you are using and if you have tried it already.
