although, might i add, you dont need a sound card to use a headset... you just need the headset. (althoug you could get a mik and set it on your desk, then get 7.1 speakers, and use that

I use the Creative Audigy 4, and it works perfectly.

I'd recommend the Sennheiser PC-155 or PC-165 headsets.
