sound card drivers

Well before i reinstalled vista on my computer my speakers where working but know they dont seem to :( im pretty sure its the drivers just woundering where i would locate them my computer is a dell xps 420 everything else seems to be working weird :rolleyes:
 
Well seeing as you apparently have a Dell, have you looked on Dell's website? They're usually pretty good about posting their drivers. Though they were a real pain recently as I tried to get an Inspiron 530. Both audio drivers they had posted were dead links :P

lol yeh i just check put nothing :( ive got this drivers and utilites disk witch i got with the pc put ive installed that, everything else has work usb meory card reader etc but no sound.

thank mate for the links ill check them out tommrow im going sleep know im pretty show its integrated what do both off them mean ? i feel pretty stupid know lol
 
integrated means its integrated into the motherboard, Dedicated means you have a pci card that is the sound card.
