Sound card driver

I just moved my sound card from an old dell into my new build, and have no idea what so ever what it is. Is there any kind of universal driver i can download to use for it?

What kinds of sound cards does dell typically use?

Pull the card out and look for the model number. Or sometimes it'll say what it is on a chip, like "Sound Blaster Live".

Most likely it's a Creative card, but it could be others. As The_other_one said, you should take it out and see if it says anywhere on the card what type it is. If it only has numbers, try googling them and see if it comes up with anything.
