Which of these would be better for games and music?

Thanks for any advice or if you know of a different one please advise. I'm using a Sound Blaster live Audigy SE at the moment and just ordered the Z5500 logitech speakers for my system.

I would go with the cheaper Xtremegamer as the 64mb of X-ram on the Xtremegamer Fatality is largely unused by games.

And as StrangleHold said, the Xtreme audio is basically a soundblaster live with lots of software emulations.

just a reminder to any who may be interested... i have a fatality soundcard for sale, PM me with offers. i will sell it relatively cheap

Those are really expensive. I got the Xtremegamer and it sounds good to me. It has three separate modes "Entertainment" (for music and movies), "Games" (for games!), and "Audio Creation" (for audio production).

There's probably not a big difference between them, but I mention it so you don't let the name of the card fool you into thinking it's *only* for gaming.

I just got the Asus Xonar in today and got it installed . I must say I really impressed thus far with the difference in it than with my old Sound Blaster Audigy SE. I've got to experiment with some settings and learn a little more but to me it was money well spent.
