Sound Blaster X-FI Xtream Audio question

It's basically not going to be geared towards gaming than other cards might be but it's definitely going to be a lot better than say onboard or Audigy..... In some ways, Xtremegamer is a waste of money when xtremeaudio is perfectly fine........

people told me that they get IRQ's with the game cuz of the sound card is that true or and they playing something WAY off the charts. should i stick with it i love the sound improvement say im playing GTA SA and i want song in the game is that when it takes effect?

I've read about complaints where, upon installing the card, their video card becomes disabled but I haven't had any problems with it so I guess it ddpends upon each person.....

i cant play DVD's some strange reason. I bought a plug in which is Nvidia DVD Decoder. I still cant play DVD's it tells me to update the driver for my video card which is fully updated i find that weird. any suggestions?

Any of the X-Fi series is great with gaming, the only thing some of the "gaming" versions have is more XRAM, which as of now doesnt make a big difference.

and the X-Fi XtremeAudio is better then the Audigy SE, by far!

The X-FI Xtreme Music will work, but it wont improve your FPS or anything (from what I've read in reviews of it). I have the Xtreme Gamer, and since it processes the audio itself, I get an FPS boost in my games.
