Hi there

I've recently ordered a new rig with a Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series sound card in it. I have a NAD C340 stereo amp (i'm old skool baby)and i was wondering what the best way to connect it is. at present i have a 15 foot cable with a left and right jack at one end and a 3.5mil connector at the other. Should i stick with this, plugging it into the green headphone port or is there a better option?

Thx guys, in advance of any advice you can give.

As long as the receiver has a 3.5mm input that shouldn't be a problem. If not you can run a 3.5mm to RCA adapter and connect it to one of the inputs.

Minijack (3.5mm) will be the best option, as your other options are going to be optical or coaxial digital. Analog will provide the best output, has the DAC and such in the X-fi are better than in most receivers (obviously excepting the highest end stuff, but even Denon receivers in the $500-600 price range have worse DAC's than in the X-fi). Also, running the shortest length cable you can will help reduce any EMI.
