sony vaio or hp?

i'm looking at getting one of these two laptops. similar pricing, but i don't know which one to get.

thanks for any help that you guys might have... the sony vaio weighs 9 lbs, and the hp weighs about 6.

deffinetly go with the hp, theres a huge difference from the Pentium M @ 1.7Ghz and a P4 @ 3.2Ghz. Also, the hp has much better graphics, a faster hard drive, better memory, and a larger screen. so go with the hp.

Of those specs, I'd go with the hp, although I have a VAIO laptop and love it. I would try to get a VAIO of equal specs to that hp.
