Software for home videos

Is there any free software out there that will let me put all my home videos which are wma and mp3 on my cd? I have tried windows movie maker, what a waste of time, I have tried Nero another waste of time. I have all my videos on either hard drives or thumb drives and cant get any of it to burn to a cd through my burner.

Hello,

Do you mean dvd-video ? Or simply just burn them as data to store them?
All you have to do with nero is open burning rom, and select burn as 'Data' or data cd, then drag and drop your files.
If you want to make dvd-video out of your video formats, you will need to use nero vision to convert, encode and burn.

I have tried the encode thing also it will let me get about 4 to 5 short videos onto it then it locks up. Then I have to start all over again and then it does the same things again.
