So Nvidia's launched an anti-intel site...wtf?

So they're openly anti-intel now, which means the're against the largest CPU/Chipset manufacturer/designer in the industry. They obviously can't side with AMD, who's GPU's are currently wiping the floor with them despite their "efforts". Do they plan on bringing IBM back into the desktop CPU market? VIA maybe?

The future of Nvidia is looking pretty grim...

o_O Now this is interesting. You have given me something to read up on during work tomorrow. (Installing OSs is fun!)

They're probably putting all of their eggs in the GPGPU computing basket, However, with ATI Stream picking up steam, and ATI working with developers to demand an open source Physics standard, the future looks really, really bad for Nvidia. If things keep going like this Nvidia won't be around to release anything after Fermi. I mean, the GTX 2XX series was a huge flop when released due to poor pricing, and yet remains the best they have to offer. And the buyout of Aegia will be for nothing if ATi is successful with open source Physics development. The i3, with it's on-CPU video, will take over as the standard for cheap desktops from manufacturers like HP, Dell, etc on the Intel side. And of course AMD is going use their own integrated graphics, plus pushing their "Fusion" platform. Nvidia now is just pushing novelty stuff like 3D and PhysX.

RIP Nvidia. Maybe my GTX 260 will be a nice collectors relic soon.
