Small Office Network

I am setting up a small office network and have a question. There will be a total of 14 computers, most will not be used except a limited amount of time during the day. Only 3 will have alot of use during the day and it will only be for setting up appointments and a little bit of data entry. Will a switch be good for this,and the server will also be a workstation, will that be OK. I am trying to keep cost at a minimum. I will also have DSL for internet access, will this be OK with a switch?

A switch should work. You can hook the 14 connections to the switch. You can then have a connection going from the switch to the server.

You'll also need a router to connect the dsl to the network, and netgear, linksys or similar router will do for your purposes
