Group calling has always been free. Group video calling however was free, then you needed Skype premium to get that feature, and now it's free again.

I don't know what the hell Microsoft is doing with Skype,but all I know is that since they bought it,it works like crap.
I can't login using my hotmail account for the life of me.
I CAN login with my Skype account every time without any problems on the other hand.But I can't login with my hotmail account.Every time it says that my password is wrong ROFL!
And I know it's not wrong because I was able to login to Skype using my hotmail account ONLINE.And I was also able to login to that hotmail address from Microsoft outlook and it worked like a charm also.
So I know that a freaking password is not wrong.I use that hotmail account every day since 2003. (I think) and the password is correct every single time.So what the hell lmao?!
The ONLY thing that CAN be the reason is the Skype application program itself.Because with the previous versions of Skype application,I was able to login with both of my accounts: skype AND hotmail.
And people ask me why I hate updates...lol...
By the way I was reading online and saw that SOOO MAAANY people have the exactly same issue as me with the latest version of Skype application.
I tryed ALL the suggestions on the internet that I could POSSIBLY FIND.
Same results...
Microsoft...COME ON!
Oh and...I did NOT install the latest version of Skype over the older one...the damn Skype did that itself...damn it...I guess I forgot to turn off the automatic updates in Skype settings...
Soooooooo...anyone knows if there is a way to solve this OR do we have to wait for Microsoft to fix that bug?

Because I don't have any contacts on my Skype account.
They are all on my hotmail account which I use for many years.

interesting. And i was talking video group call for the record. to pay for group video call in the past was for 10 people i think. Trying to get family and friends (men) together for a trip into the bush in Canada. Maybe snow train. Fishing and hunting. Usually turns out to be a survival trip. At least we will have a satellite phone. the only thing that works. GPS and cell phones don't work. Loch island lodge is where i want to go.
