Skylake CPUs out of stock in Canada?

Does anyone know why the 4-5 major online Canadian retailers are "out of stock" on several Skylake CPUs?

Noticed this 2 days ago and kept checking different sites and they all have same message. Particularly consistent over several sites was "out of stock" for the i5 6600k and the i7 K series

I'm guess that its either they are so popular right now with low stock levels or the issue with bendgate.

It's not just Canada, it's out of stock on many US sites as well like Newegg, and others it's in limited quantities at a high price.
