Sis 7012 with 5.1 capabilaties?

Hi i'm new on here and would like to know if you can use the onboard sis 7012 sound chip to output to a 5.1 speaker set. I have wired it up correctley, but only the front 2 speakers are working, and have tested the other speakers/subwoofer, so i know they also work, but not together.

Any idea's of how to get the 5.1 system working as a 5.1 system?

what mobo do you have? it may not be capable of 6-channel sound.

if its not you could get even a low end soundblaster, just be sure that the card is 6-channels...

It's a QDI suberb 4 P4 model, full feature set is located here http://www.qdigrp.com/qdisite/eng/products/S4.htm

Just been throught the manual, and it only supports 2.1, so i've ordered one of those http://uk.special.reserve.co.uk/q_GG2591_sound_blaster_live.html which should get me up and running.
