Should this be happening

I have a creative sound blaster audigy (the cheap one), and i have klipsch 5.1 promedia ultras and when i play music the sattelite speakers r louder than the left and right speakers, is that how the sound card splits it that way?

What do you mean exactly? The left and right speakers ARE satellites?
