Short Cut Problem

When I open my browser my home page opens full screen.
I go to a webpage and it opens full screen.
I make a shortcut.
When I use the shortcut the website only opens on half the screen.

Just create a favorite/bookmark for that site. You can also click on the shortcut so the page opens then drag the window so it full screen and then close it. Next time you click on shortcut it should open full screen.

I have tried dragging the page, closing and still half page when using the shortcut. I also tried making the page full with the button, closed and still nothing. I repeated the above and made a new shortcut before closing and still half page.
The shortcut worked fine yesterday and the page opened full.

I use two.
IE and Chrome.
This only happens on IE.
I did find if I open my homepage and then minimize it the shortcut opens to a full page. ???

There are lots of problems with IE. What version of IE are you running? What operating system?

IE 11 Windows 7 Pro
I have used the icons on IE for a long time with no problems.
When I restored the computer this half page issue started.

It could be from a bad addon. Have you downloaded any addons for it? Or could have malware attached to it.

No and No.
Here is what I found.
If I open IE and go to a site and minimize that site all the shortcuts open full page.
If I open IE and just use the shortcuts they all open half page.

I have the problem with the shortcuts fixed for now.
I went to my home page on IE and I minimized the page.
It was now half screen on the top half of the screen.
I slid it down to the bottom half of the screen and then stretched it out towards the top of the screen.
Shortcuts open full page now.
Before I was stretching it from the bottom of the page towards the bottom of the screen .

Is there a rule I didn't know about stretching pages from the top of the page and not the bottom of the page to make them stay that way the next time you open them?

What I normally do is drag the whole window so its at the very top and at the left. Then I go down to the bottom right corner of the window and drag it down and to the right until its at full screen and then close the browser and it usually works when I reopen it.

I don't know what the problem was.
I never had a problem dragging a page from any end.
This time it would only stick if if was dragged from the top of the page upwards.
If I made the page only take up half of the top of the screen and drag the bottom of the page down the next time I open that page it would still be only half screen on the top half of the screen and the shortcuts would also be that way.
Gotta love computers. lol

Problem Fixed Itself

The same problem I posted about before was back for 3 days and then it was gone. ???
I had to click a lot of times to get shortcuts to work and to close a page.
Scroll bars on pages wouldn't work.
On any page where you have to click on a section nothing would happen for several tries and then they would work.
Playing a card game that came with windows and had to click on a card 3-4 times to move it.
Went on the computer last night and all was back to normal.
I didn't do any scans or restarts.
Got me swinging.
