I'm trying to figure out a way of connecting both of my computers to one set of speakers. Of course I won't be trying to play sound from both at the same time. Is it possible to have the audio output of one computer go to some kind of input soundcard on another computer? Then my speakers would be hooked up to only one computer, but I could send sound to it from the other computer. Has anyone tried this before?

Im pretty sure just running a 3.5mm cable from the audio output (green) on one system into the AUX input (blue) of the other, then hook up a set of speakers on the computer with the feed coming into it.
It'll play the computers music and the AUX (Other computers) Music.

You could also try something like this http://www.huetronworld.com/handsfree-black-3jack.html just plug the speakers in to that and then plug each computer's sound card in to it.
