Sharing internet connection between 2 PCs???

I would like to know, if i had 2 seperate computers and changed their MAC addresses so that they were the SAME, would i be able to share the same internet connection with both of the computers? If this is possible, would the ISP notice anything different and if both PCs were online at the same time, would the connection & download speed be slower?

I don't think you can change a MAC address.
I suggest just buying a router or switch, I don't know any ISPs that don't allow this.

Elite, doesnt your ISP provide one modem? Do you have one computer directly connected and the second computer connected to the first computer?

How else are you going to have two computers connected to the modem without a router or hub or switch?

I would spend some $$$ (Last year I bought a 4 port D-Link for $20 after a rebate) and purchase a router... there is no "change of MAC address" required.

An ISP will get involved if they suspect you are running a server without paying for it... and its kinda pointless with a dynamic IP address anyway...

I wasnt aware you could change the MAC address of anything, its like a fingerprint for network products, no 2 Network thjings have the same MAC.
