Sharing files between 2 locations

I would like to share files between two office locations. We have networks set up in both locations. I have a laptop that I can connect at both offices on a wireless connection. What would be the best way to do this.

The best way to do this would be to install a file server so that everyone can access files at one central location and security can be managed at one central location. The server would not have to be very powerful as a matter of fact you could even use a highend desktop. As for an OS, Linux is a good low cost solution... it's free and doesn't require CAL's as does Microsoft.

However, if the offices are not internetworked (meaning you can access one network from the other) then the way to go would be an FTP server, which is easy to setup, but less secure than a file server. (I don't recommend this with confidential data)

Good luck.
