share a database or files remotley

Hi,

I need to be able to update a database from two different locations which are 7

miles apart, both networks have static ip's from verizon, linksys routers and

internally both networks fucnction locally but, I need to share a folder with the

other location so i can share a database. ( if this is the right thing to do?

please advice). Networks are all running winxp pro.

You will need some software like PCAnywhere to make this work (remote access software). Also, I'd set the router to a Dynamic IP anyway, because you never know when Verizon may change that IP address as they add new customers, and then you can just alter that in the PCAnywhere software.
