Hi,
Ok so I'll get straight to the point..
I am trying to set up my xbox to use Xbox connect on my pc.
The trouble is that I use my network card to recieve the internet from a hub,
I DO already have another 10/100 network card installed in the computer, so does this mean I can just plug my xbox into that whilst recieving the net using the other network card I am currently using?

Is it possible to just plug the xbox straight into the hub and get xbc? on the site, it sort of says you can but I really have tried (although I feel I might be doing something wrong) and haven't succeeded!
Plz help if you can in any way as I might be close (without knowing it)

Thanks,
Rob.

I don't quite understand your problem here... You should be able to connect the Xbox directly to your router/switch/hub without a problem

are you just trying to play online with your XBOX but you dont know how

first:

your hub should have a port to plug in unless you are misnaming the "hub" as a "modem". in that case you would need a router or an hub ot split the connection

second:

you say you have another NIC card in your computer already, meaning you have your onboard NIC and an extra PCI NIC. In that case you can turn your own computer into a hub or a extender persay. all you need to do is to setup a connection through your add on NIC card. then you create a bridge between your onboard LAN and your NIC card. this would turn your NIC card into an output connection, by bridging the incoming connection from the onboard LAN to the NIC card, letting you connect your XBOX to the internet.

third:

if none if wat i said helps you need to post clearer so we can uderstand you

Im confused. Are you just wanting to connect your xbox to you Pc so they both have internet connection, or are you trying to connect your xbox to you pc so that you can transfer files?
