setting ftp server

hi guys i was wanting to know how to setup ftp server becase i want to have one up can you guys help me any help would be great

becase i have some freind whicgh get new files all the time and they want to give them to me

so iask them if a ftp server would be fine and theysaid yes


so can i get some help ow to setup one up
