Server?

How do i turn my computer into a server so i can host my own site? Will someone walk me through this please!

If you want to turn your machine into a web server, I recommend using Apache. Apache is by far the easiest to setup, for me anyway http://httpd.apache.org/. You can also use IIS that comes with most Windows operating systems but I like Apache the most . Once you get that up and running, you can setup your router to forward HTTP requests from the internet to your server and there you go, a working home web server ...that is if everything is configured correctly.

Personally, I'd go with Pi3Web. It's already set up and everything, so you don't have to go through all those tooth-grinding things you have to do with Apache or IIS (which is terrible) and it's got PHP 4 set up along with any other thing you might need.

I dont think thats creating a server, its more of a server for a network...
