Hey everyone I put one of these in the internet thread but I think it belongs here now,
My school network is really good and in CS:S I get pings down into the single digits easily enough.
However, once say every 10-20 minutes it randomly takes a jump to the ol 999 ping deal then goes back down. Unfortunately most CS servers kick you for breaking the 250ping limit. Is there anything that I can do to smooth out these little "hiccups" that seem to randomly occurr. Some upperclassmen were telling me about using some kind of HTTP program or something wherein you went through port 80 or something like that.?
