Scanner not working

I have a HP Laserjet 3390 (Printer, Scanner, Copier and Fax) and I can't seem to get the scanner to work.

I am using Windows XP Pro SP3. When I click on "scanner and camera wizard" it will detect the scanner, but when I click on "next" to scan it looks like it's working but nothing happens.


I can print all day long, but I can't scan yet.

I am using the PCL 6 driver
 
My scanner will not work on its own, try a photo editing program with scan capabilities. I use photosuite to access the scanner.

The previous comment is 100% on. Simply try scanning from an editing program. I have an EPSON PERFECTION 2450. I open any version of PHOTOSHOP, I have almost everything from 3.05 days thru 4 thru 5, 5.5, 6, 7, and even CS4. They ALL ask me to IMPORT by scanning using the EPSON software.

Been on a MAC since MAC PLUS (B/W) early '92 till I got a PC a few months ago. Holy Cow, what a learning curve, but regardless, scanning is scanning. Cut & dry. Simple. Once you are in the program, it's the same. MAC or PC.

Just follow the prompts and you're laffin'.
