I tried it once a while back, I couldn't get into it much though. But from what I've seen, its supposed to be much more flexible and powerful with fewer lines of code. With that said, I prefer good ol' HTML and PHP with MySQL.
Yeah, I program in RoR...I made the leap from PhP and I am glad I did. What is nice about it is that it is a full object oriented scripting language that is completely web based.
