Router Troubles

We just bought a new wireless router today, a D-Link DI-524, and everything works. . .for a while. All of a sudden it loses the connection, and after a reset it works again, but this is very frustrating. Why is it dropping the connection on a whim? Another odd point. . .it drops the wired connection, but the wireless network remains intact. What's going on?

It sounds like interference. Cell phone, wireless house phone, bluetooth, Metal interior walls... MANY THINGS.

The router dropping signal could be due to overheating. Try to keep it on a firm surface.
