Router issue or isp?

usually my pcs are connected to the internet whenever the ethernet cables are connected to the Westell VersaLINK model 327W dsl router. not need to dial any connection, pc on, connection on. But verizon cancelled my account "AccIDENTIALLY:confused: :eek: " a month ago. Now i have got my dsl going again. but i can no longer transfer files btwn my pcs in high speed, because i have to create an new internet connection with usrname and pssword or otherwise i have no way of getting on the net. pc on, need to dial an connection. i just wanted to transfer my files using aim with high speed around 3MB/s, but now it doesn't wrk. this is an ememgency please help!
 
hmm not too sure what the problem is. Your stilll connecting to the router right, so you internet connection should be through the Local Area Connection in network connection. There is no need to create a new connection. Maybe you could be clearer about your problem
 
usually i can tranfer files up to 3mb/s through aim among my pcs and browse the net without out dialing an connection. but now i have to dial an connection with usrname and pswrd in order to browse, or transfer files. my pcs aren't on the LAN anymore therefore the transfer rate among my pcs dropped to 12kb/s as a result of different ip address(i think). all i want is to be able to get on the net without dialing any connections(this was my normal state before verizon cancelled my account). i hope that explains it:)
 
i use the same modem to connect to the net, but the problem is now that i have to sign on with an usrname and psswrd, otherwise it won't let me browse. my pcs are used to be on the same LAN and it let the pcs browse the net wtihout signing on, that way i can transfer my files fast. the internet light on the modem is used to be on, but it is off now and i don't know how to make it green again. i think once i make that light green again everything would be solved, but i'm not sure
