ok so im looking to up grade from my belkin router to a linxus router and my question to you is
-is there a big diffrence between the speed boster and the range boster
-what is the best choice for the lowest cost

The only time that you're going to need speed boost is if you are going to be transferring data over computers on the network on a large scale. So, go with the range boost, for sure.

Well, that should be where the range boost would be much more beneficial. Most internet connections are not going to be more than 4 MB, so any router would handle that and more. That's why I was suggesting that the speed boost would be more beneficial unless you were going to be transferring data regularly between computers...

well then i think that the range boost is what i will get. here is how my network will look

-dsl connection (hard wired)to
-Linux's router (wireless)
-upstairs Belkin router (wireless)
- to my 3comps upstairs (hard wired)
- so now my question is will that be considered alot of network traffic if one of the comps is for gaming and at the same time one is a web page database that i am hosting ?
