hi, just bought a wireless router so i can connect my laptop to internet wirelessly. the BT router also came with a wireless adapter but i dont think there is much point using it as the router will probably be near my main computer anyway. so what is the best wired way to connect it to pc, through the ethernet or the usb?

thanks

well, the instructions said u dont need the driver if u use the ethernet. when i used the ethernet it didnt let me onto the registration page thing for the router. but when i decided to try the usb out by installing driver then using usb cable it worked fine, wat dya think i shud do, carry on using the usb cable, or try and find out y the ethernet wont work?

cheers

If its a home connection, and it works fine, I would stick with USB. This does depend on your connection speed however. If you are using over 8 meg, i would try and switch over to ethernet. For under 8 meg, usb should be fine.
