I don't know a whole lot about computers, and this is my first time using a forum, so forgive me if I sound like a total retard. Basically, I'm trying to connect an Xbox console to the internet through my computer using ICS, but have had no success. I've enabled ICS on my computer and connected it to the xbox using a CAT5e cable, but nothing happens. I've been told that I need to use an RJ-45 cable to connect the two devices. My question is what is an RJ-45 cable, and is it any different from a CAT5e cable?
