Returning emails

(reason: 554 imp-7.mail.tiscali.it ESMTP - Too much Spam from your IP)

Everyday for months, without any problems whatsoever, my friend has been emailing from Greece on his otenet.gr address to my tiscali.co.uk address in the UK. Then suddenly this week all his emails have been returned to him with the following message:

(reason: 554 imp-7.mail.tiscali.it ESMTP - Too much Spam from your IP)

Now, I have done nothing to alter the status of his emails e.g. blocking them or whatever. In fact I don't even have an active spam detector.

I can email him without any trouble.

He can, however, successfully send me emails via his yahoo.com account!

Can anyone shine some light on this please. I would be so grateful.

Im not sure but interesting question. Best i can figure because ive had the issue with comcast. they called it spam, I call mass mail. One thing though i do. I attach now names and addy's using blindcopy. the idea behind blindcopy is to reduce the spam if it did exist. and i don't know if it does. This won't fix your problem though. youve been rejected.

my mass email is with family and friends. just goes on constantly. powerpoint presentations, news, family, fishing, stupid videos etc. comcast called it spam. enough they changed my port.
