Restarting

I got my new Chieftec PSU but now every time I press 'Shut Down' the PC shuts down and then immediately turns back on again, basically restarts when I shut it down.
Why is this?

Wait, when you do it from desktop or phisicly press the shut down button. Make sure the power cable that plugs into your mobo is properly secured.

if you go into the control panel on windows then go to power options there is a optoin for the power button on what to do when you press it, might wanna check that

The PSU could be defective. Try taking it back and getting a new one, and see if that fixes the problem.

Its not hurting the motherboard os i would just leave it. You'll get used to holding the button in.

I noticed that the big 20-pin cable that you connect to the mobo is missing 1 pin, my other PSU's cable had all 20 pins, is that a problem?

Can someone check theirs if it isn't a problem?
