Removing High Gloss finish on Laptop Shell (NOT LCD SCREEN)? Looking for Matte Finish

The shell of my laptop (like the area around the keypad, around the screen, the top cover) is a high gloss finish and very prone to finger prints and stuff. I was wondering if there is a product or method to remove the high gloss finish to create a 'matte' smooth non reflective finish but still keep the colour of the paint, that way it won't be so 'fingerprint-able'. I am not talking about the actual LCD screen which is all I found on the net. My laptop is black and I would hope for a more simple method cause taking the laptop apart and all that is not what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance!

the only thing i can think of is wet sanding. but you would have to take it apart for that, or not, it's your pc.

personalize it with some stickers on the most handled areas. that should help.

Maybe I'll try some things on this HP I've got. The glossy portions of the case are destroyed and don't think I could make it look much worse :P

Basically your stuck with what you have. You could try and sand it, but im thinking it will turn out looking like crap lol
