Removing Dust Off of a Screen Protector

Hey, the other day I was messing around with an HP 17'' Screen Protector and when I put it back on the screen, it was all bubbly. I noticed that there was a lot of dust on the protector and I am trying to figure out how to remove it all. The problem with this is that the protector is a sticker and so you can't use water to remove it. Any suggestions of how to fix this problem?

Hi, I might not be very good with computers, but I am good with housekeeping methods !

From your description of the problem, I would say your best bet now would be using those Sticky "Brushes" they sell to remove lint from your clothes. They look like a paint roller covered with layers of sticky paper that you roll over your clothes and peel off. You can ask any grocery or drugstore employee. These "brushes" are usually very cheap and you can get them at the Dollar Store.

If the sticky material on the surface of the roller is more sticky than the dusty side of the screen, which it probably is, then you'll probable be able to remove most of the dust. If this does not work, please send me a message and I'll think about something else.

You really cant unless you try to wash it off but I am not sure how good that will work.

I have the perfect way- get rid of the screen protector Personally i think they are useless, but if its really important to you then just get another screen protector off ebay for like $4.

No, I use it for anti-glare. But if Ebay has the, for that cheap then I'll check it out.

At that price, I'm buying one too!

I just wanted to mention that some people feel screen protectors are useless, but every pair of eyes "filters" the light entering through the retina in a different way, just a as camera lens filter.

Every person sees the world in a slightly different way, and some people are really affected by the screen glare, while others are entirely protected against it. Don't ask me why.
