Remove Bloatware of Pre-installed Windows 7 Image

Hi,

My Samsung notebook has a recovery partition that restores Windows to the same level it was when it shipped from the production line however its full of not only Samsung software but loads of other bloatware.

Is there anyway of removing all this are restoring the image to a pure, legal and fully activated version of Windows 7 only?

Cheers

Scott

You would have to buy your own copy of windows 7 without the bloatware. Or use software such as acronis true image, then uninstall all bloatware take the image and then next time you have to install use the image to reinstall windows.

Borrow a windows 7 disc
Reformat and reinstall (don't enter your key during install, make sure you choose the correct version for your key)
Enter your key after installation
Ring up MS and ask them to activate the key (tell them what you did and why, they're pretty lenient with this)

They might be lenient with XP or Vista, but i doubt they will reactivate 7.

They did the same thing with my laptop and I'm assuming they do it with the majority of computers that have Windows preinstalled on it. I wish companies would ask us if we want to install their crap, er, program on our computer instead of taking it upon themselves to just put it on there. On the other hand though, I bet those companies pay an arm and a leg to get their software preinstalled on computers.

By the way this is my favorite program for uninstalling things on windows, Revo Uninstaller!
