red/black

hey guys i have these kinda old, but ok speakers lying around. on the back it has one red and one black thingy (+/-) that you can stick wires into (its not a port or anything, just a hole). I was wondering if there was any way that i can use these speakers for anything.

Thats a standard speaker connection. you can use it for any home audio system or a computer speaker system that uses them.

lol, ok yeah, im a complete noob when it comes to speakers. now how would i use it on the computer? I have this soundcard, is it capable of using it?

Red is positive, black is negative. You could get yourself an amp and connect them to your computer if you wanted

That soundcard COULD use them, but you need some power to push the speakers...

you can use them as wiring, for sodering.... Or for your home audio, not much else....

O and you can use it to choke people but dont recommend it.

LOL... Well, I think spacedude covered it As long as you have some sort of amp, you could connect them to anything...
