Recommendations for buying a color laser multifunction printer?

Hi everyone,

First post here. And what a lovely place this appears to be.

I'm looking at buying a color laser multifunction printer and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

Besides copy/scan capability, I want the printer to produce pages that are crisp in quality. But mainly I want it to be cheap to operate.

My current printer is a Konica Minolta 2300W, for which the toner cartridges cost ~$30 and produce 4,500 pages each. Obviously this means the printer is very cheap to run - at about two-thirds of a cent per page. Unfortunately the printer has kicked the bucket.

After a bit of research, it looks like the best options are:
However it seems like the toner cartridges for these printers generally cost ~$60 and are only rated for 1,500 pages. Kind of a step down from what I'm used to.

Any thoughts on what else I might look at?
 
Do you usually print black & white or colour?

HP one print faster on color, but slower on B &W

Samsung ink seems cheapest

I would mostly be printing in black & white, but print speed is not a huge deciding factor for me.

From what I can gather by reading the few reviews there actually are of these printers out there, the downside to the Dell is that the ink costs a lot; but the Samsung emits unpleasant odors while printing, and is rather power hungry (although at 600W, it doesn't even approach the 1100W that my current printer consumes).
