does this realtek sound card eats up a lot of my resources? like if i disable sounds for my game and play fps increases dramatically.. can anything be done about it without messing with the hardware?

You could turn hardware down to monimum, and yes turning off sound completly will help out alot, due to the CPUs need to help out the sound card.

i tried that already.. turning hardware to minimum makes it even more crappy!.. heres the log

Ok, you dont have what i was looking for there. Usually realtek has an .exe called ALCMTR, but you dont seem to have it. Btw, fix this:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = SERVER1:8080

i did'nt find any int ernet in my registry.. anways, anything can be done to boost some performance? coz of this resource hungry realtek

I bought a sound card this year purely to minimize cpu load. I don't play games but I could notice the effect on moderate cpu applications. It's essential to have a sound card for gaming. Audio-wise the onboard audio is fine for most users.
