realtek onboard sound problem

In a six channel setup my center is firing with my left front speaker simutaneously when doing the audio test. However when the center speaker is supposed to individually fire there is no sound. How should I solve this problem?

Ps. I do not have a sub connected but I dont think that should make a difference.
Oh ya, when plugging the analog cable into the rear computer audio panel (where the other two cables are plugged in) realtek detects the plug but places it in the front panel whereas the other two are detected and placed in the rear panel when looking at the realtek audio I/O screen.

ok i guess after writing out the problem it helped me think of a solution. I decided to try and plug the av jack into the front of the computer and whalla I had center speaker sound. hopefully this might help someone.
