Realtek HD soundcard & Voicechat

I have the realtek HD soundcard and every time I go to voicechat in Steam, in games like CSS or UT The receivers get a crazy reverb that just spirals out of control, someone please help me /: :confused:
 
I think that more than a handful of readers in these threads can all agree that we are having problems with the affordable realtek Sound cards. And we would greatly appreciate some professional answers, maybe in the for of a super sleek patch to help us withh all of these troubles noone else is experiencing. The problems are pretty common with this typed of card, and would seem smart for business; and not too hard to fix them..
 
the connections, on the card to plug in speakers, microphones etc. might be damaged. you may need to get a new card
 
I can sadly assure you that the connections are fine, I checked them three or four times, there are numerous people with this card having the same problems with the steam client.
 
If it's a software problem then there's not really any way of fixing it unless realtec release a patch. You can always go out and buy a cheap sound card, that should fix the problem.
