rca to usb splice, possible?

hey everyone, i would like to splice a usb and an rca cable together in order to connect the laptop to the tv to watch a movie, firstly is this even possible, the cables inside each one are differnt, im not to sure how to connect, secondly even if i can attach it, will it place the video on the tv? thanks!!!
 
No it isn't. However by attaching the laptops video out to the tv you could achieve waht you want. Does the laptop have only vga out?
 
yeah it Only has vga out. i have a spare vga laying around, whats the best way to attach it to the tv? the tv doest have a vga connector either lol
